Golf Tours in Scotland

Scotland, the birthplace of golf and one of the  most visited golf destinations worldwide...

Although small in size, Scotland is saturated with incredible golf courses and planning a golf trip can be no easy task, so to help we have seperated Scotland into four regions, St Andrews & Fife, The Highlands, Western Scotland and The Northeast Coast, all desrved of a golf tour in their own right.

St Andrews and the county of Fife are the centerpieces of any golfers first journey to Scotland. There is much more here than just The Old Course, the region overflows with classic links courses... Carnoustie, Kingsbarns, Muirfield, Gleneagles, Crail, Gullane and North Berwick to name just a few. The area just might have the greatest concentration of classic links courses in the world.

The Highlands are famous for Loch Ness, stunning scenery, great whisky and, of course, amazing golf. This region is home to Royal Dornoch Golf Club, which by itself is worth the trek north. But the Highlands offers so much more, with Castle Stuart, Nairn, Brora, Fortrose, Golspie and Moray being among the very best in all of Scotland.

Western Scotland and specifically along the coast,  is one of Scotland’s most historic and beloved golfing regions and some say is the very heart of Scotland’s golfing heritage. For many people, the west is as spectacular and historic as St. Andrews. Home to some of the worlds most famous and iconic golf clubs such as Royal Troon, Prestwick, Turnberry, Western Gailes and Dundonald Links.

The Northeast Coast of Scotland is not as popular as Edinburgh or St Andrews for obvious reasons, but for those willing to journey further north along the North Sea, the rewards are immense. This historic stretch of coastline is home to some of the world’s finest and most revered links... Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay, Trump International, Murcar and Peterhead to name just a few.
