Hotel Jardin Tecina is located on the island of La Gomera and to reach the island you fly into Tenerife South Airport, then catch the Fred Olsen Fast Ferry from Port Los Cristianos to Port San Sebastin (40 minutes ferry crossing), once on dry land you will be met and transferred to the resort in Playa de Santiago (45 minutes). Sounds quite a performance but in reality, this is all part of the La Gomera adventure and an experience that will only add to your holiday, whats more, all of the above is organised for you and included in your golf package.

"If you want to chill out and recharge your batteries, whilst playing golf, then Jardin Tecina & Tecina Golf is the place for you. You can be as active as you want or just take it easy. The local area is not overdeveloped with tourism, like some areas in the Canary Islands. The small fishing village of Playa de Santiago is a 10-15 minute walk away and has a handful of restaurants and bars, which many locals frequent. If you choose the hotels half board basis, this is a buffet within the main Restaurant Principal, however, the dine around options allows you to experience a taster menu in the other restaurants for a small supplement or if you choose a la carte then you will receive a discount off the food. My favourite restaurants included the Spanish restaurant Fandango and Club Laurel.

To make the most of the stunning Atlantic views, stay in a Superior room, these are located along the cliff top or if you prefer an adult only area, then choose the Duplex Suites, which have their own pool area. Another great place to chill out in the open air Spa Ahemon (adults only) that opened in 2017.

Tecina Golf is slightly unique, in that the 1st hole is over 100 meters above the 18th and clubhouse, so you meander your way down the course, with almost every hole having ocean views of the Atlantic or towards Tenerife and Mount Teide, pretty stunning."
