Pestana Silves Golf


Pestana Silves Golf is one of the newer golf courses on the Algarve but far from an easy test of golf. Although not exceptionally long, Silves presents a challenge to even the lowest handicap golfer, while still affording high handicappers an enjoyable round. Water comes into play on 6 holes, with the first hole having water on either side of the fairway. Bunkering is relentless so focus is on straight hitting and careful approaches to the year round immaculately maintained greens


Silves has a natural beauty and an elegant design with most holes offering spectacular mountain views  across a valley of palm trees and olive groves making the course a big favourite with golfers taking a golf holiday in the Algarve.
