Minthis Hills Golf Club

The course at Minthis is a beautiful and challenging 18-hole championship course that winds its way past a 12th-century monastery with breathtaking views of the Troodos Mountains and beyond. Designed by legendary golf architect Donald Steel in 1994 and renovated by renowned course designers Mackenzie & Ebert, it is a flawless example of their philosophy that golf courses should fit into the natural terrain and challenge players of all levels.

Few places are so tranquil for a friendly game, being fun to play for all standards of player, with great variety between holes. Elevated tees invite everyone to “have a go”, yet narrow tree-lined fairways provide a challenge, with each shot requiring careful assessment. The demanding short par four 13th hole is an example where the green can be reached with a well-struck drive, although danger lurks with the steep valley cascading away. The 15th and 16th holes are challenging uphill par fours requiring accuracy and distance to reach the green in two and the 14th hole provides an excellent crescendo to a set of good par threes with water surrounding the green.
